Was du wissen musst
-
Wie wird das future progressive gebildet?
Das future progressive (auch future continuous genannt) wird mithilfe von will be und dem Partizip Präsens gebildet.
⇒ Zum Beispiel: I will be going to cinema. You will be doing your homework.
Verneint wird das future progressive durch die Konstruktion will + not + be + Partizip Präsens. Die umgangssprachliche Kurzform von will not lautet won't:
⇒ Zum Beispiel: They will not (won't) be travelling to India next week.
In Fragesätzen wird will an den Satzanfang gestellt.
⇒ Zum Beispiel: Will you be going to India next week? What will they be doing after lunch?
-
⇒ Zum Beispiel: This time next week I will be skiing in the Alps. When Jane retires I will still be working for another year or so.
⇒ Zum Beispiel: I will be finishing my work in half an hour. The summer sale will be starting in the middle of July.
This time next week I will be visiting my grandparents.
It will be raining tomorrow. The shops will be reducing prices for gingerbread right after Christmas.
