Adverbial clauses of purpose (Adverbialsätze des Zwecks) sind Nebensätze, die die Absicht, den Zweck oder das Ziel des Sachverhalts aus dem Hauptsatz angeben. Eingeleitet werden adverbial clauses of purpose mit den Konjunktionen so (that), so ... that und in order to.
