We were having dinner at a restaurant for my birthday ____________ they gave me a gift certificate for three lessons. I was so happy! I couldn’t wait for my first lesson, which they had scheduled for two weeks later.

    ____________ I arrived for my lesson, I met the trainer and the horse, Chestnut. We practised getting on and off the horse for a long time. It’s much harder than it looks! ____________ I was sitting in the saddle, I started feeling nervous. What if I fell off? What if the horse moved suddenly? I didn’t feel better ____________ the lesson was over. ____________ the lesson was over, I was happy to say goodbye to the trainer and horse and go home. I think that was my first and my last horseback riding lesson! I hate to admit it, but I think my parents were right. Horseback riding is not my cup of tea.
