  1. The parents host an after-prom party each year to give students a chance to relax and hang out after prom. It also keeps the students safe.
  2. The students can play table tennis and foosball, swim in the high school pool, watch short films, eat food and play other games.
  3. This time next week, the parents will be setting up the games, blowing up balloons and putting up other decorations, and bringing food and drinks to the cafeteria.
  4. The students will probably eat a lot, because they’ll be hungry:  They feel nervous in their formal clothing, so they don’t eat much at the prom.
  5. The students arrive in their prom clothing, but then change into comfy (comfortable) clothing, such as pajamas and slippers.
  6.  All students must arrive by 1:30, but most students will arrive by around one in the morning. If students have their junior driver’s license, they will arrive before midnight, since they’re not allowed to drive after midnight.

Hint: When talking about situations for which you have evidence, such as the dark clouds in the example above, use the going-to-future. When talking about something that will happen that you can’t change, use the will-future.
