  1. Paula doesn’t like people asking her about her future, but she doesn’t get angry when people ask her. She is not sure what she is going to do.  She doesn’t understand why people keep asking her what she’s going to do in the future.

  2. Paula went to a fortuneteller because she got a gift certificate for her birthday from her friend Anna. The fortuneteller said many general things that weren’t helpful in Paula’s opinion. Paula didn’t walk away with any concrete answers.

  3. Paula said she’ll never ask 17-year-olds what they’re going to do in the future. She thinks it’s the worst question ever.

  4. Many answers are possible. Here are a few tips:
    Use to be going to + verb to talk about something that you plan to do but don’t have a particular appointment or date for.
    Use the will-future to make general predictions about the future.
    Use the future progressive to talk about what will be in progress at a particular future date.
    Use the future perfect to talk about what you will have done by a certain time in the future.
