Das will-future progressive (auch will-future continuous) setzt sich aus will + be + Partizip Präsens zusammen. Die Form ist bei allen Personen gleich.

Oft wird anstelle von will die Kurzform ’ll verwendet: She’ll be staying with her aunt for a while.
Verneint wird das will-future progressive durch die Konstruktion will + not + Partizip Präsens. Die umgangssprachliche Kurzform dafür lautet won’t: He will not be travelling to Asia next month. / I won’t be going out today.
Das will-future und future-perfect hingegen werden anders gebildet.
Gebrauch
Man verwendet das will-future progressive, um normale, vorhergesehene Handlungen oder Ereignisse auszudrücken oder wenn etwas Zukünftiges „sowieso“ eintreten wird, ob geplant oder nicht.
Beispiele:
- The train will be arriving at Munich main station at 5 o’ clock.
- I cannot come along. We’ll be writing a test then.
- She won’t be coming anymore. It is too late now.
